Taxes

VAT tax / Sales tax
This is the type of tax that you always need to pay at the checkout, unless you are importing goods.

The Sales tax varies per country, that is why the prices at our checkout can also vary per country.

For The Netherlands sales tax is 21%, but for Germany it is only 19%.

EXAMPLE
A skate that is 199,95 euro for a Dutch customer, would be 196,65 for a German customer.

Orders from outside of the European Union to countries like the UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, etc, etc will not need to pay Sales tax at all, Instead they will need to pay import tax to their local goverment.

Import tax
This is the tax that is paid if you import something from a different country/trading zone. It depends from country to country on what kind of trade agreements are done.

We ship from The Netherlands, which is a part of the European Union trading zone.

Orders from outside of the European Union to countries like the UK, US, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, etc, etc will most likely have to pay import tax. This however depends allot on the country that you are in. Ask your local customs or government for more info to know if you will need to pay import tax.

The good thing is that if you are from outside the European Union, you will not need to pay our Dutch 21% Tax when you buy something.

We can not lower the value of the invoice, or send out packages marked as "gifts" to avoid the import tax.

EXAMPLE
If a skate costs 199,95 euro for a Dutch customer, then somebody from the United States will only pay 165.25 euro at the checkout because there is no VAT tax paid.
Then when the package comes to your door in the US, there will be an added import tax paid at the door.
